Head Start Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Part-time (Bi-lingual preferred)

Duties Include :

• Assists Head Start Nursing component with all duties within the scope of practice.
• Works with all health component staff to ensure that the program is in compliance with Head Start Health Performance Standards.
• Works with parents to ensure health documents are current and on file in the Head Start office.

• Clears student files for placement and performs other duties as directed by the Health Coordinator.
• Performs Health Screenings.
• Performs Child Plus entries.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a Licensed Nurse Practitioner,, in good standing

SALARY, BENEFITS, CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Pay rate is $22.00 per hour. This position is not eligible for benefits.

PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT, CANDIDATE MUST :

• Pass a criminal background check & Sex Registry check.Submit documentation of an initial health examination indicating freedom from communicable diseases; and must show proof of TB test.Must present proof of COVID vaccination status.
