Position Type: Classified/Tutor
Location: Office of Federal and State Programs
Classified tutors to provide individual and group tutoring to students in before school, during the day, after school and Saturday Academy programs across Richland One Title I schools.
Hours per week vary by location, usually anywhere from 5-15 hours per week.
Tutors facilitate individual learning experiences for students utilizing various intervention programs, kits, and teacher-created materials.
Under limited supervision develop lesson plans, supervise instructional activities and assignments and collaborates/communicates regularly with classroom teachers.
Devise specialized instructional techniques aimed at meeting individual needs of students.
Provide teachers and school administrative staff with data, feedback and information about each student.
Maintains documentation to include attendance rosters, lesson plans, assessment records and other data as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Prior experience working with students in need of remediation is preferred.
Salary: $15.00 per hour for classified staff
