The School District of Waukesha is inviting applications from talented Bilingual and Biliterate teaching professionals to staff our 90:10 Dual Language Program. Our program educates Native English and Spanish speaking children 4K-12th grade at four elementary, three middle and three high schools. Candidates who have near native fluency and literacy in the Spanish and English languages, believe in and promote lifelong bilingualism and biliteracy, value and engage families, and who want to innovate effective uses of technology and personalized learning are highly sought. Our Ideal Candidate must: Have experience teaching in Bilingual and Dual Language Education Be advocates of bilingual pedagogy and family engagement Have effective peer and collegial relationships Have experience teaching Spanish and English literacy Be dedicated to impacting their learning through ongoing professional development The role will/may consist of: Dual Language Arts (Bilingual), Dual Language Social Studies/Science (Bilingual), and/or Dual Language Math (Bilingual)
