We are seeking School Assistant Principals
The Archdiocese of Boston is currently accepting applications for faith-filled, dynamic Assistant Principals to support Principals in overseeing the daily operations of schools to serve the PreK-8 students.
We are creating a pool of candidates in anticipation of openings for SY 22/23. If selected, the Catholic Schools Office will recommend you for elementary Assistant Principal school openings as they occur.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Fostering a strong Catholic identity
• Help build a culture of distributive leadership which includes working with faculty and administration
• Observing teachers and offering timely feedback
• Coaching teachers in instructional practices
• Working closely with teachers, students, and families
• Engaging parents as partners in their child's education
• Working as a team to create an enrollment strategy
• Participating in strategic planning
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required, Master's or higher (preferred)
• A commitment to Catholic education (required)
• Prior experience in teaching and school administration (preferred)
The Assistant Principal will work closely with Principals and Pastors in meeting the needs of the entire school community, while fostering a welcoming school culture committed to sharing the truth, goodness, and beauty of the Catholic faith.
