DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as main coordinator of the student data management system to input student data and maintain accurate records.
  • Establish and maintain automated records and files; generate and distribute computerized reports related to the master schedule and student information.
  • Process new enrollments and student withdrawals, including documentation, school records and CA-60 files.
  • Update school website and digital bulletins.
  • Assist in the creation of the master schedule, including teacher assignments, student course requests, class rosters and performing schedule changes.
  • Coordinate course registration and elective options for current and incoming students.
  • Generate reports as needed, including midterm progress reports and semester report cards.
  • Request and evaluate records and transcripts for new students transferring from other districts.
  • Perform credit audits and verify credits earned to fulfill graduation requirements.
  • Coordinate transcripts dissemination, including use of Docufied Secure Transcripts.
  • Coordinate New Student Orientation along with prospective student visits and tours.
  • Coordinate college representative visits and assist with related special programs for students and families.
  • Assist with overall coordination of graduation activities and information.
  • Coordinate the annual Honors Night program.
  • Manage the College Counseling Center to include updated scholarship opportunities and university marketing materials.
  • Assist in the coordination of standardized testing.
  • Support community service programs by recording hours, marketing opportunities, and planning school-wide programs.
  • Compose and type a variety of forms, letters, lists, applications and certificates; duplicate and distribute materials as necessary.
  • Maintain college counseling website, including update opportunities and announcements.
  • Perform complex clerical and statistical recordkeeping duties in the evaluation, preparation, modification and maintenance of scholastic records.
  • Serve as backup to office secretary on an as needed basis to receive telephone calls, greet visitors, and provide assistance to students, parents, staff, and outside agencies.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • B.A. or B.S.; Experience in a school setting preferred.
