Amplify Education is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is organized and responsible, with project management experience. We are seeking someone with a successful background in procurement, supplier management, data analysis and reporting to make a meaningful impact in the world of education.

Reporting to the Exec. Director of Supply Chain Operations, the Supply Chain Planning Analyst will lead manufacturing, procurement and several key processes for all physical materials for Amplify Education, Inc.

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Analyst:
  • Manage all product specifications and procurement from Amplify's preferred supplier base.
  • Enter and maintain Purchase Orders for manufacturing and assembly into ERP and attach all quotes and back-up correspondence.
  • Enter item receipts from suppliers and assist the Accounts Payable / Finance team with invoice reconciliation and audits.
  • Maintain manufacturing supplier relationships and coordinate all open orders / work-in-process to confirm supply order schedules. Partner with leadership to ensure there are redundant manufacturing capabilities across the supply base.
  • Collaborate with the team manager on all new manufacturing projects including specification assignment, supplier selection, RFQ and submission of prototypes for approval.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to confirm quality standards are being met and work with manager to resolve all defective product claims.
  • Aid in the management of State Depository relationships. Place stock transfers to move physical goods from supplier locations to Depositories and track receipts. Lead all aspects of the end-to-end Depository workflow and assist sales support with creation of Depository-specific Opportunities in SF.
  • Meet with Depository teams regularly and ensure inventory & Sale reports are received on schedule and distributed to appropriate team members.
  • Partner with Amplify Accounts Receivable to confirm payments are received from depositories and align with depository-specific Opportunities in SF and their corresponding Sales Orders in Netsuite.
  • Lead all aspects of sample manufacturing, inventory and distribution for major sales campaigns or events. Work with Inventory Management to ensure stock levels are sufficient and to place replenishment manufacturing orders as necessary.
  • Assist the Exec. Director in the management of all 3PL supplier-related services which include warehousing, fulfillment and logistics.
  • Analyze data to identify problematic processes within the supply chain (supplier performance, internal relationships, team methodology, etc.) and suggest improvements.
  • Collaborate with key partners to monitor and evaluate efficacy of solutions and iterate until desired outcomes are achieved.

Basic Qualifications of the Supply Chain Analyst:
  • 3+ years of relevant supply chain experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical, strategic and creative problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple, contending projects/tasks.
  • Professional experience effectively collaborating and communicating with internal and external partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

Preferred Qualifications of the Supply Chain Analyst:
  • Supply chain / Operations experience in education publishing or hands-on learning companies.
  • Experience proactively complete tasks without close supervision.
  • Enthusiastic about sharing findings and useful insights.
  • Experience using CRM and ERP systems, notably Salesforce and NetSuite.
