PRIMARY FUNCTION: This position is responsible for providing leadership and management to the Accountability, Assessment, and Reporting Services department. The incumbent oversees state/local testing and assessments, running student performance reports and analysis, conducting surveys, program evaluation, and maintaining the district's accountability system.

SALARY SCHEDULE: A-2
WORK DAYS: 250

REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Education Level: Master's degree from an accredited institution within a relatable field. Preferred: Master's degree in psychometrics
  1. Experience, Skill, and Certification:
  • Five+ years experience leading and supervising personnel and Seven+ years experience working with quantitative and/or qualitative student.
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of principals and theories of research and evaluation, tests and assessments, and statistical analysis.
  • Proven interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service, prioritize one's work, and show teamwork skills even in stressful.
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills including the ability to conduct presentations, write comprehensive reports, as well as holding training sessions and leading group.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and evaluate data, determine patterns, and form conclusions and recommendations.
  • Experience with understanding school functions and cyclical processes.
Preferred:
  • Knowledge of current rules, policies, regulations, and laws relating to educational assessment.
  • Extensive course work in statistics or educational.
Essential Duties:
  1. Provides leadership and direction department.
  2. Ensures high quality and accurate reports and presentations.
  3. Improves operational efficiencies and performance using software and workflows.
  4. Collaborates with Senior Leadership on testing and assessment schedules and develops short-term and long-term plans. to meet division and district goals.
  5. Manages the data mining of large student performance databases for data analysis, evaluation, and reporting.
  6. Oversees and maintains the District Accountability System - Reporting, Evaluating, Monitoring Instrument (DAS-REMI), prepares reports, and presentations as required.
  7. Oversees and provides professional development training on testing, assessment, report analysis, and online systems.
  8. Collaborates with school data teams and departments on defining report requirements for meeting goals and objectives, including assisting in formulation, establishment, and implementation of School Improvement Plans, benchmarks, and
  9. Manages the expenditure of assigned budget to support department operation.
  10. Oversees district, state, and national testing programs, data requests, research requests, district surveys, Federal Impact Aid, program evaluation, and statistical research in support of student achievement and administrative.
  11. Serves as the lead liaison with GA DOE for testing assessment reporting.
  12. Chairs the testing calendar committee, which is responsible for developing the annual testing calendar for the school.
  13. Communicates with the media, parents, and community groups as needed for the dissemination of testing and assessment information.
  14. Assists board in running committees and focus group meetings.
  15. Maintains district enterprise systems and software as needed to support the administrative and instructional process.
  16. Performs other duties as necessary for the effectiveness of the organization.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Incumbents will be considered "at will." Appropriate pay will be determined based on the Grade as determined by Human Resources and allowable experience. The work calendar will be 250 days. (A-2) Exempt
