The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) is seeking a mission-driven Regional Education Coordinator to lead high-quality educational programming for a cohort of small schools serving youth placed in residential facilities run by the Department of Youth Services (DYS) in the Northeast Region of Massachusetts. If you are an educational leader/administrator dedicated to social justice, positive youth development, and the provision of personalized, college and career-ready education, we are interested in you. Candidates should have demonstrated success in a supervisory role, possess a Bachelor's degree, a M.Ed. and/or a Master's in Teaching and a Massachusetts's administrator's license. Frequent travel across Northeast Massachusetts required.

This is you:
  1. You have a minimum of 3 - 5 years of demonstrated successful teaching or supervisory experience with disconnected youthA minimum of 1 - 3 year(s) demonstrated ability to successfully lead, coordinate and supervise teaching staffBachelor's Degree from accredited College or UniversityMassachusetts School Administrators LicenseExperience in program development and leadership with disconnected youth is a plus
Highlights of What You Will Do:
  1. Provide leadership and supervision in the delivery of education services in the designated area(s), including identifying opportunities for improvement, strengths, and solutionsPromote the success of teachers and youth within their designated area and collaborate with other educational coordinators, including SEIS, in the planning of both regional and state wide training, including regional faculty meetingsEnsure compliance to DYS policies and procedures, including DYS Education Requirements, in each program and intervene as necessaryBe a leader in championing opportunities that develop culturally responsive practices and positive youth development across the region

Workplace Health and Safety: CES employees working on site in DYS, DMH, DPH or CHC facilities are required to demonstrate that they have received a COVID-19 vaccination.

Compensation: competitive based on experience, education and license. ($75,000-$105,000)

CES Benefits: CES offers a comprehensive benefit package including: Health, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, and voluntary Short Term Disability, enhanced Vision and additional Life Insurance. Health Insurance is offered through Tufts/Harvard Pilgrim and includes two plan options: PPO with a self-funded Health Savings Account, and HMO with a Health Reimbursement Account funded by CES to support a portion of health insurance deductions. FSA and Dependent Care accounts are available. Eligible for MTRS Retirement. Professional development and mentoring offered throughout the school year.
