  • POSITION: ELL Outreach Worker (Grant Funded Position)
    LOCATION: Nashua High School North
    STARTING: 2022-2023 School Year
    SALARY RANGE: $25.00 hour

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Experience with youth and families; preferably with service agencies and in an urban setting. The successful candidate is Bilingual Spanish/English with complete fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in both languages. Fluency in Portuguese is a plus. Must have valid driver's license, be certified or skilled to translate and interpret, counsel, mediate, intervene in a crisis and possess strong interpersonal skills.

    SUMMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Coordinate with school administrators and guidance regarding ELL students. Case-manage ELL students, conduct home visits, coordinate services with the school, city agencies, and other city departments. Educate and counsel families and at-risk students regarding educational and personal options. Other duties as assigned by the Director of ELL and Student Services.
