POSITION: After School Instructors for the Math Tutoring Program
JOB SUMMARY: The purpose is to provide additional support in math to 8 th grade students. The teacher is responsible for planning instructional lessons that meet the needs, interests and abilities of students; creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning; and employing effective instructional techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Illinois Teaching Licensure required ? - Math endorsement preferred
• Successful PreK-8 teaching experience preferred
• Demonstrated skill in diagnosing, prescribing, assessing student learning and appropriate record-keeping
START DATE: Monday, December 13, 2021
END DATE: Thursday, May 26, 2022
HOURS: 2:45 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays(3 days per week)
