Evaluation Program Manager, Equity-Centered Teacher and School Leader Pipeline | Grant Funded Position for Three Years

FUNCTIONAL PURPOSE

The purpose of this position is to provide evaluation, data collection, and implementation support for the programs funded by the Teacher and School Leader (TSL) Incentive Program grant. The evaluation support will include evaluation planning and design, data collection, analysis, reporting, and interpretation of evaluation results and continuous and quality improvement. This position is a three year grant funded position.

The Evaluation Program Manager will be expected to regularly report on the success of TSL-funded projects as well as provide direction to key stakeholders regarding opportunities for improvement. This position will work closely with TSL program leads including the Equity-Centered Teacher and School Leader Pipeline Program Manager and Teacher Residency Coordinator, as well as with internal stakeholder teams including Grants, Data Collection and Evaluation, Human Resources, Instructional Services, and Leadership Development. The position will be supervised by the Chief Equity and Accountability Officer at Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Works with TSL program leads and Evaluation and Data Collection Team to develop and implement logic models for evaluation

•Works with the TSL Program Leads to calculate and report performance-based incentive pay

•Gathers and reports data related to schools and educators participating in TSL-funding programming

•Generates reports for funders that outlines progress made towards objectives and previously established logic models.

•Completes evaluations and recommended next steps for TSL program leads on quarterly and annual basis.

•Provides updates to community stakeholders on services provided by the TSL grant.

•Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

•Excellent ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms.

•Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and statistical software (SAS, SPSS, or R).

•Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with a variety of different stakeholders.

•Strong statistics and evaluation training.

•Skills in creative problem solving.

•Ability to work independently.

Job Qualification

Pay Grade PSM2 | Full-Time | 12 Months | Minimum Annual Salary $65,860

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

•Minimum: Master's Degree in Educational Research and Measurement or equivalent experience in statistics and data management.

•Preferred: Master's Degree in Educational Research and Measurement or equivalent degree WITH two years or more work experience in statistics and data management.

CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:

•Valid NC Driver's License
