Options Academy teachers prepare students for the HiSET (High School Equivalency Exam) through measurable standards-based instruction and the development of career and college readiness skills. Options Academy teachers ensure that all students master the content and skills necessary to obtain a HiSET and complete the minimum state graduation requirements; both necessary to earn a high school diploma. This includes teaching concurrent courses in graduation-specific content areas where necessary.
This position will support students at Virtual Campus, and other sites through the Alternative Pathways Program.
This position is located onsite at the Kurtz Building.
