OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST -LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE (ANTICIPATED)

FULL-TIME - 36.25
HOURS/WEEK

Salary: Per AEA Salary Schedule
Location: Smallwood Drive School
Dates: January 27, 2022 through March 7, 2022 (Tentative)
Qualifications:
  • Must be NYS licensed.
  • Experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Must be/get fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education & be cleared PRIOR to start of employment (see instructions in the attached file)
Description / Responsibilities -
  • Evaluates and administers occupational therapy treatment programs for referred students
  • Keeps accurate records on treatment and makes written reports on student progress for inclusion in the individualized Education Program (IEP)
  • Attends clinical workshops to upgrade skills
  • Familiarity with school age Commiteee on Special Education (CSE)
