People & Culture HR Administrative Support (Remote)

Position summary
NWEA has an immediate need for administrative support for a 4-6-week temporary assignment. For this role, you will assist with a large-scale onboarding project by launching and processing new hire packets, performing data entry and auditing records to ensure accuracy. During the interim training period in December, you may also assist with editing position descriptions and other administrative tasks as needed. We're looking for a quick learner who is extremely detail oriented. You will be responsible for contributing to the work of the People & Culture HR team, specifically in support of Payroll and HR Operations functions. You will report to the Sr. Director, HR Operations and Total Rewards. For this role, you may work remotely from any location in the U.S. You must be available for this assignment as soon as possible.

Responsibilities
  • Provide data entry support for Payroll and Benefits (Total Rewards) including new hire data entry and emailing new hire packets
  • Auditing new hire records for accuracy
  • Support Payroll & Benefits compliance and related communications
  • Perform other duties as needed

  • Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
Education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years' work experience within a Human Resources, Finance, or related professional team environment
  • Strong emphasis on HR data administration highly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills and attention to detail is required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
