Staff Needed: One (1) Preschool Teacher Special Education

Qualifications:

1. Hold a valid New Jersey educational service certificate in accordance with the requirements of N.J.S.A 18A:27.1 et seq., and NJAC Title 6 Chapter 11 with appropriate special education endorsement(s) (N.J.A.C 6:11-8.3) and other appropriate endorsement(s) in accordance with the requirements of N.J.A.C 6:11-6.1,6.2, or 8.1 et. Seq.,
2. Show evidence of 3 to 5 years of successful experience in teaching and working with children in the preschool sitting preferably in a school setting
3. Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative
4. Demonstrate the ability to assess, treat, and provide strategies for the prevention and remediation of speech, language, and hearing disorders
5. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Early Childhood and Special Education, child growth and development, learning assessment and instructional strategies, and classroom management
6. Ability to interpret and assist classroom teachers with the analysis of data
7. Hold a valid Driver's license with no serious violations
8. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, administrators and the community
