Requirements
English Language Arts or Social Studies Middle School Teacher- Laramie Middle School
Spring Semester 2022 Only Position
Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, a certificate issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board with an endorsement as a 6-12 or 6-8 Middle School ELA and/or Social Studies. Other subject areas may be considered.
This position is to support student in multiple grade levels at the school in different disciplines. Duties include assisting with learning loss interventions, substituting in classrooms, team teaching, and other student and school supports.
Other desired qualifications include: experience teaching in grades 6-8; strong communication skills; willingness to work with colleagues as part of a collaborative team; strategies for engaging and meeting the needs of diverse learners; an ability to access resources and provide broad, authentic learning experiences. Candidates should have knowledge of and experience with: best practices in instruction and assessment; professional learning communities; and a variety of positive classroom management strategies.
