General Responsibilities: Provides professional leadership utilizing a team approach to facilitate, coordinate, implement and manage federal programs involving; Schoolwide, Targeted Assistance, English as a Second Language Programming, Extended Programming, Pre-K, Non-Public, Parent and Family Engagement, Homeless, Foster Care, Neglected and Delinquent.
Performance Responsibilities:
  • Provides instructional leadership in coordinating and implementing the State Department of Education approved Federal Programs.
  • Monitors the implementation of each school improvement and equitable service plans to assure student achievements.
  • Provides interpretation of Federal guidelines and procedures in relationship to federal compliance and regulations.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of professional development activities for public and non-public participants.
  • Assists administrators and school planning teams with program implementation, meaningful consultation, technical assistance, budgeting, personnel staffing, scheduling, and other activities that facilitate achievement of program objectives.
  • Manages and evaluates public and non-public consultants and teachers.
  • Assists with the planning and conducting of parent and family engagement activities in public and non-public schools.
  • Collects, reviews and reports data of students receiving federal services.
  • Directs efforts to maintain Law Compliance and adherence to Office of Civil Rights (OCR) mandates and regulations as related to educational programs for limited English proficient students.
  • Acts as liaison among school staff, parents/guardians, and various organizations within the community for effective participation in the educational process.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
The Project Manager must 1) possess a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred), from an accredited college or university, 2) possess knowledge and experience with federal laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines, and 3) possess a valid teaching certificate.
