Additional Job Information : Erie 1 BOCES seeks a supervisor who will act as a Systems Change Facilitator (SCF) for the West Regional Partnership Center as part of the NYSED Office of Special Educations OSE Educational Partnership Network. The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and have good communication skills. The supervisor must have experience leading, facilitating, and supporting teams to work cohesively.

We are looking for a dynamic motivated leader who cultivates a team approach. The SCF will act as a liaison between Erie 1 BOCES and various internal staff, outside agencies, and NYSED. The SCF will oversee a team of specialists who assess districts needs for support around behavior, transition, literacy, specially designed instruction, culturally responsive and sustaining practices, and special education regulations. The SCF collaborates with the Implementation Teams in each district to plan for the facilitation and development of the annual Support Plan. The SCF will collaborate to establish goals and activities that the Regional Partnership Center and Family and Community Engagement Center (FACE) will provide to each district or program.

Some specific duties include but are not limited to:

Meet monthly with the Professional Development Specialist (PDS) for the Early Childhood and School-Age FACE Center to review what they are working on and plan for joint activities between the FACE Center and the RPC

Work with clerical to review data and submit quarterly progress and budget reports

Conduct needs assessments with identified districts to determine specialist deployment and to better understand the systems change required within that district
