Support and Technical Job Description
Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk II (Part time)
Work Year: 260 days
Department: Finance
FTE: 0.5FTE, 20 Hours per week.
Reports To: Executive Director of Finance
SUMMARY This is a 20 hr. per week position, responsible for coordinating, controlling and maintaining functions of Accounts Payable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
D 30% Analyze vendor invoices and process for payment.
D 30% Analyze check requests and process for payment
D 10% Review employee expense reimbursements and process for payment
D 10% Perform customer service to District departments related to vendor payments
D 5% Verify delivery of items/receiving
D 5% Review and analyze purchase orders to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
D 5% Perform backup duties for other Accounts Payable staff
Ongoing 5% Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND TRAINING: High school diploma or equivalent minimum, Some college preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Prefer 2+ years of accounting and accounts payable experience.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & EQUIPMENT: Basic knowledge of computer software, math and good customer service skills.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS: None are required.
SUPERVISION/TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITY This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Acts as a resource for District in accounts payable issues and questions.

SALARY: Support and Technical Salary Schedule Range 6 (half-time).
