Cambridge Rindge & Latin School is a comprehensive high school divided into four Learning Communities designed to promote high levels of learning and achievement for all students. Honors courses are offered in all core classes (English, History, Mathematics, and Science); Advanced Placement (AP) courses are available to qualified students in grades 11 and 12.

The Role:
The Cambridge Rindge and Latin School seeks a part-time clerk to join its caring and innovative community. The position will report directly to the CRLS Finance Manager and school Principal. The individual will offer administrative support to the CRLS Finance Manager and Principal.

The individual will assist the Finance Manager with student activities, including working with and communicating information to CRLS club advisors and members; collecting and handling cash receipts; making deposits; and entering data into Quickbooks. The individual will carry out proper cash handling procedures and ensure appropriate record keeping and reconciliation of student activity fund deposits and expenditures. The individual also will provide support and assist CRLS club advisors.

The individual also will help with the processing and tracking of service agreements and payment vouchers for club advisors and others who work on a temporary basis under a service agreement.

The individual also will assist the Finance Manager with the processing of scholarship award payments.

Other duties may be assigned.

The individual will be required to work 10 hours per week during regularly set hours.

Your Skill Set:
CRLS seeks an individual who is/has:
  • Familiar with Quickbooks and Excel and is comfortable learning, using and implementing new technologies
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Able to work with and communicate positively to club advisors, students, parents, and staff
  • Able to meet schedules and timelines
  • Able to work collaboratively to resolve issues
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor degree preferred
