About this role...
NWEA has an immediate need for a Talent Acquisition (TA) Coordinator for a temporary/contract assignment. In this role, you will promote NWEA's mission and culture by supporting our Talent Acquisition team within the Human Resources department. You will support all functional areas of the Talent Acquisition life cycle related to the attainment of overall NWEA goals. If you have at least one to two years of Administrative and/or Coordinator experience supporting a Talent Acquisition team in a corporate or agency environment, and you are available to work in a temporary role, we want to hear from you! Note: Candidates may work remotely from any location in the United States. This is a temporary/contract assignment with possibility for assignment extension or conversion to full-time hire.
Your next challenge...
  • Provide administrative support with full life cycle talent acquisition from job specification through the employment offer and on-boarding process
  • Support the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialists in augmenting talent acquisition tasks and responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
    • Enhancing Diversity (DEIA) efforts
    • Supporting internet-based and social-networking sourcing
    • Scheduling panel interviews
    • Utilize DocuSign for submitting confidential documents
    • Utilize Applicant Tracking System, (Jobvite) for sourcing and maintenance of candidate information
    • Augmenting internal resourcing practices
  • Ensure HR employee electronic files are maintained in accordance with compliance standards and NWEA policies and procedures. This includes creating new employee (electronic) folder; adding candidate offer letters and NDAs; employment applications, candidate evaluations, references, and other documents as needed.
  • Work directly with Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist and other People, Culture & HR leaders to ensure that talent acquisition processes are aligned with established guidelines and procedures, and incorporate best practices
  • Conduct reference checks according to TA standards and processes
  • Redesign TA forms /documents where needed
  • Working with the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, develop reporting processes for talent acquisition and integration metrics
  • Develop and cultivate solid relationships with various levels of management, internal and external candidates, and external talent resources
  • Perform other work as assigned to ensure the success of the team and the entire organization

Education and experience...
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Advanced skills with MS Office suite of tools, including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, One Note, and SharePoint
  • Minimum one to two years of administrative experience supporting Talent Acquisition is required
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking system such as Jobvite, Taleo, Workday, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of EEO employment law highly preferred
