Salary Range: $18.717- $22.362 per hour

Essential Functions and Objectives:

- Works with students, families, teachers, administrators, and members of the community to implement systems that ensure efficient and effective student support services and promote clear communications throughout the school community. Quickly builds relationships with students and staff and uses a Restorative Approaches lens to hold students to high expectations. Establishes and maintains student support services that fiercely defend and support instructional time in a school setting while completing a wide range of tasks.

- Supervises daily student breaks, arrival, and dismissal in collaboration with the administrative team; manages student discipline in collaboration with administrative team; organizes and implements student rewards programs; engages families and community in conversations to support students; and schedules and attends home visits to support struggling students

- Enters and analyzes student attendance, behavior, and academic data to create and implement student academic support plans, sharing data with faculty at professional development and at planning sessions and supporting teachers with student attendance and behavior as well as implementation of academic support plans

- Supports Student Coordinator in ensuring that Academic Support plans are in compliance with Special Education, Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP), and Crisis Plans

- Develops partnerships to support student growth and investment, including mentorships and work experience/apprenticeships

Knowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:

- 1+ Experience working with K-12 students, middle school experience preferred

- 1+ Experience collecting and using data

- Required Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

- Required Effective time management and organizational skills

- Required Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop and present complex information to teachers, administrators, or other adults

- Required Strong attention to detail

- Required Effectively handles multiple demands and competing deadlines

- Required The ability to take responsibility for one's own performance

- Required Demonstrated success in working collaboratively with other professional staff

- Required High degree of integrity in handling confidential information

- Required High capacity to support problem solving, data analysis, and coordinating details in a fast-paced environment

- Required Demonstrated success in developing presentations and in presenting complex information to teachers, administrators, or other adults

- Preferred Spanish proficiency preferred

Education Requirements:

- Minimum High School Diploma/GED

- Preferred Bachelor's Degree
