We are currently seeking a Full Time Human Resources Assistant / Recruiter.
Summary:
Works with administration to develop and execute effective talent acquisition and retention strategies that supports the goals and vision of Global Concepts Charter School in addition to other HR duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Full cycle candidate management from initial job posting through hiring, background clearance and on-boarding.
  • Confers with administration to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
  • Collects and analyzes data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
  • Reviews job descriptions annually and creates new job descriptions as needed.
  • Develops recruitment programs to attract applicants and to fill vacant positions.
  • Writes and places job advertising internally and externally.
  • Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Trains staff on interviewing techniques and applicable employment laws as necessary.
  • Conducts candidate interviews as necessary.
  • Participation in job fairs as necessary.
  • Develops and maintains contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants.
  • Ensures new hires have required full clearance, certifications, drug screen, and reference check.
  • Ensures new employees are enrolled in benefits as appropriate.
  • Prepares reconciliation reports for benefits.
  • Conducts new hire orientations.
  • Conducts exit interviews.
  • Mails termination letters and COBRA notices as needed.
  • Performs other HR duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in Human Resources; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
HR and/or Recruiting: 1 year preferred.
