Summary:
Primary responsibility to provide special education services for elementary school students in a self contained and inclusion environment. The qualified candidate will have a background working with elementary students who have intellectual disabilities.
Qualifications:
Applicants should hold a Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Special Education K-12 General Curriculum or Specific Learning Disabilities K-12, or be eligible for such. Emphasis on candidates who are highly qualified in one or more core content areas.
Salary:
Range for the 2021-2022 school year is $45,550 TO $75,191 with additional supplemental pay for a graduate degree. The salary payscale may be adjusted based on the 2022-2023 budget. Fully licensed successful candidate eligible for $5,000 signing bonus.
Workday:
Full time / 10 month/200 Days/ 7 hours per day
