SUMMARY: The School Operations Coordinator works with the Manager, School Operations to perform and/or oversee all aspects of school operations with an emphasis on compliance activities at all levels, internal and external to the K12 organization and functions as a member of the school leadership team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
  • Works closely with Manager, School Operations to project manage major school events, such as Enrollment, Semester End Transition, Year End Transition, and State Testing;
  • Develops relationships with education vendors, the districts, state and other education stakeholders;
  • Helps maintain student records and data; creates/implements/documents processes that ensure student data validity in K12 and 3rd party databases;
  • Assists Manager, School Operations with local, state, and federal reporting requirements;
  • Works with Manager, School Operations and administrative staff to ensure the school is compliant with and meets all audit requirements;
  • Communicates between the district the Company and district(s) related to student enrollments;
  • Assists Manager, with the development of school policies and procedures, e.g. assists with the Company’s efforts nationally to develop policies and procedures, training standards and curriculum enhancements;
  • Assists with a wide variety of personnel support issues and may support key office positions.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Education AND
  • One (1) to Three (3) years of operations, project, or product management/support experience OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates and Licenses: None required.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIOS:
  • Organizational and time management skills – “Great is relative”
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience using a student information system and/or other type of database
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to clear required background check

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Management experience
  • Formal project management experience in fast-paced or start-up environment
