Plans, assigns, and manages the work of employee wellness teams; develops, implements, manages, and
analyzes a systemwide health promotion and wellness program for Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS)
employees; provides consultative and coaching support divisionwide; collaborates with county organizations
regarding employee health regulation compliance; researches, plans, and manages employee wellness
policies and develops supporting communications plans.

Qualifications:
Any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in health and physical education or a health-related field, including or supplemented by courses relating to health, physical fitness, nutrition, and/or corporate wellness. Five years of progressively more responsible related experience in a health-related field and/or clinical background. Possession of a current license to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia preferred. Knowledge of the theory, procedures, and practices related to health and welfare benefits. Knowledge of the philosophy, goals, and activities required to implement and manage a comprehensive wellness program. Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with other professionals within the schools, agencies, and communities. Ability to work independently and in teams. Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting. Knowledge and skill in the development of multi-media communication tools. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups.
