Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in education, school administration, public policy, communications, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Five years of progressively more responsible experience in education, public policy, data analysis, business process management, communications, or marketing. Knowledge of the principles and practices of public administration, school division departmental administration, and group facilitation. Knowledge of database management systems and tools. Knowledge of statistical, research, data analysis, and business process procedures and techniques. Knowledge of the laws and regulations governing the activities of a school system. Ability to articulate solutions related to budget, data, and reports generated from numerous offices and different industries. Ability to work independently and exercise a high degree of initiative and judgment. Ability to manage large projects. Ability to act as a group facilitator. Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with all levels of department staff. Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
