CLASSIFIFED VACANCY
*This position is for the 2021-2022 school year*

POSITION: High School Boys Varsity Basketball Announcer

LOCATION: District

PAY: $30/game

REPORTS TO: Athletic Director

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must possess a strong, comprehensive knowledge of basketball and all its rules
2. Knowledge and ability to run various electronic systems
3. Ability to work under quick, fast paced conditions
4. The ability to work and communicate well with numerous individuals
   1. Included but not limited to both teams' coaches, referees, players, and administration.
   2. Must be able to assist scorebook keeper when needed (which player scored, subs, etc.)
5. Announcer must be able to comment on:
   1. Starting lineups
   2. Game action, including scoring and fouls
   3. Pre-game and half-time announcements

6. Any other requirements set by the Athletic Director
7. Vaccinations may be required.
