Talent Acquisition Specialist (temporary, remote)

Who you are...
You are a Talent Acquisition Recruiter with experience in full lifecycle recruitment in a corporate environment. You have a successful history of filling requisitions in an efficient, timely manner with high-quality candidates. You are known for your professionalism, excellent customer service, outstanding interpersonal skills, and you treat everyone with respect. Most of all, you thrive in a fast-paced, diverse work environment and you enjoy what you do every day. In this role, you will promote NWEA's mission and culture by delivering a high level of customer satisfaction to internal hiring managers as well as internal and external candidates. You will actively contribute to all functional areas of the talent acquisition lifecycle and report to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition. This is along-term temporary position with approximately 12 months in assignment duration and possibility for assignment extension or conversion to full-time hire. Location: This is a remote position and you may work from your home office located anywhere in the U.S.

Your next challenge...
  • Lead and Support full life cycle talent acquisition from job specification through the employment offer and on-boarding process
  • Support the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition in developing and augmenting talent strategies that include, but are not limited to:
    • Enhance diversity efforts
    • Augmenting internal resourcing practices
    • Recruiting/Screening/Interviewing/Scheduling
    • Pipeline Development and Management
    • Candidate sourcing strategies
    • Candidate coordination and follow up
    • Relocation/Travel and other processes related to on-boarding talent
  • Provide support to managers regarding best practices in talent acquisition and ensure compliance and understanding of EEO, hiring and compensation guidelines
  • Ensure talent acquisition electronic files are completed in accordance with compliance standards, which includes candidate evaluations, applicant tracking and appropriate utilization of Applicant Tracking System (ATS) software
  • Develop and cultivate strong relationships with various levels of management, internal and external candidates, and external 3 rd party agencies

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office suite including but not limited to, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Education and experience...
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but will consider candidates with combination of education and 4 years' experience in lieu of formal degree.
  • Experience in a professional services environment strongly preferred; ideal background would include some exposure to the Software as a Service (SaaS) industry
  • Minimum three (3) years' recruiting experience preferably a blend of agency and corporate recruiting experience. A background with technical /engineering roles is preferred.
  • ATS systems experience required, Experience with Jobvite highly preferred
  • Basic knowledge of EEO employment law
