The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Senior Manager and will primarily be responsible for preparing the month-end financial journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliation, and monthly billing process. The ideal candidate should have substantive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, practices, processes, and procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Perform day-to-day operational accounting and month-end close activities, including preparing and posting journal entries, gathering details for management and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
- Prepare monthly variance analysis and explanations of monthly balance sheet results
- Lead processes for payroll accounting, revenue, and billing
- Compile prepared by client requirements for annual audit with independent accounting firm and other engagement, as required
- Ensure proper application of internal controls to maintain the integrity of financial reporting
- Interface with other departments to ensure accounting matters are properly addressed
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- 3-5 years of experience in Accountant III role
- Technical skills in US GAAP
- Self-starter, problem solver, flexible, resourceful, process driven and have a high degree of integrity and ethics
- Advanced level Excel (pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas, macros, index, conditional list, arrays) and reporting skills; some data mining skills with current working knowledge of enterprise financial ERP i.e. Great Plains/MS Dynamics, Management Reporter and Adaptive budgeting a plus. Company will be moving to Microsoft Dynamics.
