JOB GOAL: Assist in the efficient operation of the office/school environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
EVALUATION: For new employees, evaluations will be done according to the current collective bargaining agreement. For transferring employees, evaluations will be done at 30 days.
All regular employees will be evaluated at least yearly.

Physical Demands
Frequent sitting at a desk.
Occasional standing, bending, squatting, light lifting - up to 25 lbs.
Manual dexterity to prepare mailings and use office equipment.

Normal/Corrected vision.
Visual acuity to read correspondence and computer screen.
Auditory acuity to be able to use telephone and greet visitors.
Ability to speak clearly and distinctly.
Temperament:

High degree of patience and tolerance.
Must be courteous and able to deal effectively with people.
Must be cooperative, congenial and service-oriented.
Ability to work in an environment with frequent interruptions.

- Associates Degree or High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- Two years administrative support experience and/or equivalent training required.
- Proficient in data management, analysis and math skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work as an individual and as a team member.
- Ability to demonstrate a high degree of customer service skills and professionalism.
- Ability to operate computer and applicable software and devices. Ability to take initiative to creatively solve problems.

JOB GOAL: Assist in the efficient operation of the office/school environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Enrollment of new students into the School District of Lancaster and/or maintain child accounting records.
- Organize and operate a welcoming customer-focused office.
- Provide clerical support for the supervisor/department.
- Processing and monitoring of incoming and outgoing record requests.
- Obtain, organize, and enter pertinent data in an accurate and timely fashion, such as maintenance of child accounting records.
- Establish and maintain records, filing and scanning systems.
- Serve as a liaison for communication and reporting involving appropriate outside agencies as required.
- Assists with the collection, analysis, and reporting of enrollment data and trends.
- Perform duties according to district/building/departmental procedures.
- Support in the process of all levels of communication with students, parents, staff and community.
- Tracking of students in placements outside of the School District of Lancaster.
- Assist in performing auditing and analysis of data entry with the District's student information system and/or other databases.
- Follow departmental policies, procedure manuals and work instructions.
- Assist in providing building/department information and training on procedures.
- Maintain and order an appropriate inventory of office supplies. Must be willing to participate in ongoing professional development, such as office technology, District student information system, and PIMS.
- Assist in the completion of special projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
