Serves as a team lead for the division?s response to employee requests for reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); plans, assigns, manages and monitors all aspects of response policy and processes for continual improvement development; works to ensure consistent and effective methodology for office services and programs; addresses more complex matters of disability accommodation; ensures legal compliance; facilitates ADA investigative research.

Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in human resources or related field. Coursework in ADA compliance and disability rights and accessibility preferred. Five years of progressively more responsible experience facilitating and managing institutional responses to ADA requests for accommodations, two years of which shall have been in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Certified Professional in Disability Management (CPDM), Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS), and/or Certified Case Manager (CCM) preferred. Knowledge of the field of human resources, ADA, and the legal requirements pertaining to disability and leave absence management. Knowledge of employee case management workflow and implementation of best practices. Ability to prioritize and to exercise independent judgment and initiative. Ability to manage multiple tasks at a time, with strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Advanced proficiency in the use of presentation technology and data compilation, manipulation, analysis, and reporting. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with department and school-based staff and peers. Ability to maintain confidentiality of communications and medical documentation. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
