Summary: The School Operations Support Specialist, performs and supports various aspects of the national school operations with an emphasis on compliance activities at all levels, internal and external to the Stride organization.

Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
  • Maintains student records and data; creates/implements/documents processes that ensure student data validity in Stride and 3rd party databases;
  • Works with office and administrative staff to ensure the school is in compliance with and meets all audit requirements;
  • Assists with communication between the Company and districts related to student enrollments and withdrawals;
  • Supports data and logistics of major school events, such as Enrollment, Semester End Transition, Year End Transition, and State Testing.
  • Assists with a wide variety of teacher and personnel support issues.
  • Reviews and processes accounts payable and receivable records; Follows established District procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, storage and disposal of records

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma AND
  • Four (4) years of relevant work experience OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates and Licenses: None required.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Great organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong technology skills
  • Experience using search engines (internet) for research projects
  • Experience using a student information system and/or other type of database
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MSWord, and Outlook
  • Ability to clear required background check

DESIRED Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
