OHIO University Zanesville is seeking candidates for Assistant Professor of Instruction in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Available August 16, 2022 to teach undergraduate courses in the Early Childhood and Elementary Education program. This is a 1.0 FTE non-tenure track position with a teaching load of 24 semester hours or equivalent per academic year. 
 
Other duties will include academic advising and participation in recruiting and orientation efforts. Active participation in program and university related activities, as well as engagement through community partnerships is also expected. 
 
It is expected that faculty will modify courses for distance learning where appropriate. 
 
The Zanesville campus, part of Regional Higher Education (RHE), is one of five regional campuses and two centers serving students throughout Southeastern and portions of Central Ohio with a comprised enrollment of more than 5,000 students. We seek a candidate with a commitment in working effectively with students, faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds.

Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree in Elementary Education or a related field required.  At least three years of teaching experience in an elementary school setting.

Preferred Qualifications:  Ph.D. or Ed.D in Elementary Education or related field and college teaching experience preferred.
