Please see the attached job description. The individual will provide instruction to adult students regarding the fundamentals of machine tool CNC (Computer Numerical Control) in a newly created training laboratory in Niagara Falls. The state of the art facility is designed to provide students with current and trending skills and abilities in the field of advanced manufacturing. The program is scheduled to run four (4) days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for a period of 24 weeks. The individual must be able to instruct on theory and provide practical workplace hands-on opportunities. The candidate must possess a minimum of (3 years) of experience in the Machine Tool and CNC manufacturing field and be able to follow a set curriculum and content specific course outline in the various areas of machining, tools and equipment required for the career. The individual must have the ability to perform oversight of individual student work, evaluation of progress, and forging a solid working knowledge required in the workplace. Individual should have or be eligible for certification upon hire. It is anticipated that an individual would qualify for certification with successful completion of fingerprinting and three workshops. Prior teaching experience is desired. Regular attendance and dependability is required. Other responsibilities may be assigned. The assignment is subject to change.
