Description of Service Opportunity:
Coach one or more of the following intramural based sport programs at the four Upper Schools and the Amigos School: Cross Country/Volleyball/Basketball/Soccer/Ultimate Frisbee/Orienteering/Swim/Wrestling/Track and Field
The Manager position is one that administers paperwork at each building to ensure eligibility and certify health records, while also coordinating building schedules and any other paperwork required to support the students and coaches.
The Coach Position is responsible for scheduling and planning practices in coordination with the building Intramural Manager, taking accurate attendance, ensuring that participating students are eligible to participate, and committing to all practices and end of the season contests, and school district city tournaments.
***Each intramural session will run 2-3 days per week for 6-8 weeks within the timeframe of 3:00 PM - 6:00pm.
Mimimum Requirement/Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university is preferred. Previous successful playing and/or coaching experience required.
Current CPR/AED & First Aid Certification, Online Concussion Education Certification, and fulfillment of the MIAA Coaches Education Requirements, and state requirements. In addition, completion of CORI Form, and fingerprinting background check is a must.
Contract Dates:
September 9, 2021 through June 30, 2022
Contract Amount
$24.00 per hour, Not toexceed $3,000.00
