Job Details

Every student deserves opportunities in life, and every educator committed to providing those opportunities deserves support. Those beliefs drive us to work alongside schools to support great teaching so that we can work towards guaranteeing that all students are receiving high quality instruction. We partner with over 900 schools - both district and charter - in underserved communities around the country, thus impacting more than 330,000 students. Third-party evaluations confirm that when schools have the right basic conditions in place and partner with ANet, they achieve 6-8 months of additional learning over a two-year period compared to schools not partnering with ANet.

At ANet we are committed to living out our core values, both across our organization and with our partner schools. We acknowledge that systemic inequities impact student access to opportunities and that in order to ensure educational equity for all students, we must center on the experiences of those from marginalized communities to guide our work. We work to deepen our understanding of how race, class, power and privilege influence the education system as well as influence our own perspectives. To do so,  we provide ongoing learning opportunities through org-wide professional development, affinity groups, working groups, and resource sharing.

Individuals who join ANet have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, values driven, and team-oriented organization that is committed to having an impact in schools by investing in each other and learning together. We were named as The NonProfit Times “Best Nonprofits to Work For” and work tirelessly to foster a working environment where the unique perspectives, backgrounds, and identities of our staff members are valued.

Over the next five years, ANet aims to continue to grow our impact and reach its students and communities across the country. We are currently sitting at a roughly $30 million organization, a plateau many nonprofits are often unable to break past. However, given our aspirations for equitable instruction across the country and the strength of the resources we provide partners, we have set our sights to grow our reach and scale. This is also critical in a year of ESSER funding for ANet to strategically capitalize on the additional dollars in the space to grow the business and footprint.

The role of the Chief Partnership Officer (CPO) will be the primary driver and fuel behind these ambitious growth targets. Through their leadership of our sales renewals and partner experience efforts, they set a vision to lead and manage a team towards these goals.

We believe equity isn’t a box to check. It’s a daily action. We exist to empower social impact organizations to recognize and overcome unconscious bias, racism and sexism so they can build a workforce that reflects and strengthens the communities they serve.

We look at the data, ask the tough questions and—when we need to—disrupt the status quo. We’ve learned that real change can’t come from relying on the same systems and “best practices” that got us here in the first place. Our clients want to live up to their values, but it’s not always easy to know where to start. They need a trusted guide to get there. We walk them through an equity-driven process focused on finding, hiring and retaining exceptional leaders, developing transparent compensation programs, and building inclusive environments where employees thrive. This is the new standard. And we challenge everyone to meet us here.
