Curriculum %26 Instruction Assistant

The Curriculum & Instruction Assistant at National Heritage Academies will report directly to the Curriculum & Instruction Manager. The assisstant will work closely with the C&I team in support of a variety of departmental projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing multiple projects and complex tasks independently, attending to both fine-grain details as well as the bigger picture.

Part-time position (20 hours) - opportunity to work from home 1-2 days per week.

Your Role

  • Provide support for key Curriculum & Instruction initiatives, primarily our internally developed common assessments.
  • Formatting student- and teacher-ready test materials.
  • Editing & proofreading.
  • Enter test content into an online platform, as well as NHA's proprietary, custom-built assessment system.
  • Collaborate with Curriculum & Instruction team members to obtain information, coordinate logistics, and ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
  • Support other projects and initiatives, as needed (e.g., myNHA development and enhancements for applications including gradebook, assessment, curriculum, and special populations).
  • Additional duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Self-motivated.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience working in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential, both written and verbal.
