New Milford (Connecticut) Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Paraeducator for Transition Programming for students aged 18-21 in a community setting. This position is for 7 hours per day - 8:15 am to 3:15 pm

DUTIES: This position provides individualized and/or small group support in the transition program as well as out at vocational sites within the community. LHTC is a transition program for students with special education needs ages 18-22 years old. Job requirements will include behavioral, PMT (Physical Management Training), ADL's (Adaptive Daily Living Skills) educational and personal need supports. Preferred candidates will have the Endorsement A driving license for CT or willing to seek the endorsement.

Qualifications: Must hold minimum of 60 hours of college credit or pass Para Pro Assessment.

Working Conditions: 7 hours per day, includes paid lunch. Salary is per Paraeducator's contract.
