The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) is seeking Instructors to support students enrolled in the Migrant Education Program (MMEP) and studying for the HiSET exams to earn their HSED. Academic instructors will assist migratory students ages 15-21 with developing a study plan, weekly check-ins and providing academic support as needed. It is essential that instructors are familiar with the High School Equivalency Exam and have previously supported students in HiSET/GED before. All of the students will be studying and taking the Spanish HiSET exam so it is imperative that applicants are Spanish-speaking and ideally have experience working with migrant or adult learners.

  • You demonstrate the ability to provide instruction to individual and small groups of English language learnersYou demonstrate the ability to adjust lesson plans and strategies to best fit students' unique needs and interestsYou have one (1) year of teaching experience in high school level academicsYou are bilingual ability in English and Spanish
