Old St. Mary's School, a National Blue Ribbon Catholic School located in the vibrant South Loop, seeks a dynamic student support interventionist to begin immediately.
The interventionist, under the direction of the student support team, plans and provides for appropriate instruction and accommodations for students with IEPs and 504 plans in a variety of educational settings.

Responsibilities:
Plan and provide instruction utilizing special education strategies in reading, writing, and math (depending on student needs) in both the general education classroom setting and resource environment

• Modify the general education curriculum as needed for students
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student progress
• Regularly communicate with families regarding their child's progress
• Collaborate with teachers, learning specialists, and administration to develop student support plans
• In grade level teams, assist teachers in planning differentiated instruction and assessment in the classroom
• Progress monitor, document, and observe students who do not meet grade level benchmarks and follow the OSM MTSS process
• Attend IEP/504 eligibility meetings
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Must be eligible for or possess an Illinois teaching license (or out-of-state equivalent)
• LBS1 endorsement (or in progress) highly preferred
• Familiarity with Wilson Reading System a plus
