    Responsibilities include:
    • Establish rapport with parents, students and colleagues and exhibit knowledge of the content of the subject area assigned
    • Responsible for using effective instructional techniques
    • Instrumental member of the Transportation Technology sequence of core classes that provides the academics, career and technical education and skills for students in the Collison Repair Technology program
    • Responsible for preparation of industry based certification of curriculum development, maintaining and/or obtaining all appropriate maintenance of related equipment and coordinating advisory committee meetings for the Collison Repair Technology Program
    • Will Sponsor Skills USA, a Career and Technical Student Organization and will actively engage in all staff activates.
    Job Qualifications
    • Applicant must possess or be eligible to obtain a Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license and full-time Career and Technical Education (CTE) credential (secondary/postsecondary level within 90 days of employment.http://www.cde.state.co.us/cdeprof/cteworksheets/visualanddesignarts
    • As a condition of employment, the individual selected for this position will be expected to complete the APS-sponsored Linguistically Diverse Educator (LDE) Certificate Program within the first three years of employment.

    • Minimum of five years in the Collison Repair Technology industry.
    • Prior experience as an instructor preferred.
    • NATEF (ASE) and or ICAR certification in one or more of the instructional program categories.
    • Possess or qualify for the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with a vocational endorsement
