Initial Location: Buildings & Grounds
Hourly Rate: $21.06 - $30.47/hr.
Hours: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
(start times will vary due to seasonal changes)

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO TAKE THE CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION WHEN MADE AVAILABLE. ADDITIONALLY, THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT MUST HAVE PLACEMENT ON THE CURRENT ERIE COUNTY CIVIL SERVICE LIST (RANKED IN THE TOP THREE) OR PRESENTLY IN THE CIVIL SERVICE CLASSIFICATION OF STATIONARY ENGINEER.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma, and additional experience and knowledge in a particular field where specialized duties are involved; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

DUTIES OF ASSIGNMENT: Support the Director of Facilities and the operations at Ken-Ton UFSD. Participating in the operation, maintenance and repair of H.V.A.C. and other mechanical equipment. Must have knowledge of the operation, repair, and maintenance of boilers, pumps, generators and H.V.A.C. equipment, together with knowledge of the repair of electrical and mechanical fixtures and equipment.
