The mission of Texas Virtual Academy at Hallsville is to provide an exemplary individualized and engaging educational experience for students by incorporating school and community/family partnerships coupled with a rigorous curriculum along with a data-driven and student-centered instructional model. This position is funded by State Compensatory Education funds. The primary purpose is to maintain data for students in at-risk programs for the purpose of tracking growth as compared to closing academic gaps between students who are at-risk and the general population.

- Design and produce weekly reports for state compensatory education program
- Analyze data for program effectiveness and collaborate to present data regarding program effectiveness
- Track growth measures on BOY, MOY, EOY, and Interims as needed
- Compile student academic information for intervention program
- Maintain database of students active in the RTI program
THIS POSITION MAY PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED IN ALIGNMENT WITH THE SCE PROGRAM. DUTIES THIS POSITION MAY NOT PERFORM:
- Duties related to testing, such as test administration
- Perform legislatively mandated duties or activities that are specifically allocated to a regular education position in the Texas Education Code
- Activities or duties that would supplement anything other than the regular education program, such as parent/family liaison
Supervisory Responsibilities:This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree AND
- Advanced Excel skills
- Three (3) years of relevant experience with data analysis
Certificates and Licenses: None required
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient with Access or similar database program
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Effective customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience in developing reports and/or dashboards
- Texas Residency
- Ability to pass background check
