Specifics:
High school graduate or equivalent. Must have valid Children's Center Permit or the equivalent of twelve (12) Early Childhood Education Units in areas of Home/School and Community, Child/Human Development and Programs/Curriculum. Valid First-Aid certificate and Infant/Child CPR training required. Transcripts & First Aid/CPR certificates must be attached to application . Work within well-defined guidelines in the application of standard of childcare methods and procedures. Ability may be required to be bilingual in English and a designated second language. Applicant should have knowledge of ages and stages of child development and basic physical, social, intellectual and emotional development of young children. Moderate physical labor; must be able to lift toddlers and pre-school children. See job description for further specifics.
