The paraprofessional will work to support students in 1:1 or small group settings and provide SRBI support in the academic content area of mathematics. The paraprofessional will work under the supervision of the Math Specialist and building administration.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will:
- Enjoy working with students at the intermediate levels of learning (Grades 5 and 6)
- Be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Demonstrate an understanding of the content area skills and the ability to communicate this understanding to grade 5 and 6 students
- Have strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic
- Be flexible with following directions and supporting a wide-range of diverse learners
- Have experience working with students at the intermediate levels (preferred)
- Demonstrate strong mathematics skills to work with a diversified group of students
- Understand and be able to support students with mathematics instruction/application
