POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced school leader to serve as the Principal of THA Middle School, the only middle school in the Tulsa Metro to receive an A on the state report card in 2018-2019. The principal will be the leader of the school, driving exceptional student achievement, scholar culture, teacher development, and school operations through coaching leaders and staff members, preparing high quality professional development, and creating a data-driven culture.
The Principal is ultimately accountable for all school results: academic, cultural, and operational. The ideal candidate has leadership experience in a high-performing charter school
This position is a full-time, exempt role. Starting salary is $80,000.
REQUIREMENTS
• Strong commitment to, belief in, and alignment with mission and vision of school
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree
• 2 years school leadership experience required
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to give and receive feedback
• Exceptional data analysis skills
• Experience with or training in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

GENERAL Responsibilities
• Coach school leaders and other staff
• Ensure effectiveness of consequences
• Communicate effectively with families
• Track and analyze schoolwide data
• Lead Professional Development
• Collaborate with Leadership Team in the creation of systems necessary to protect student culture and instructional time
• Drives a positive and effective staff culture

SPECIFIC Responsibilities
• Develops and evaluates school leaders and other staff members
• Uses data to guide instructional decision-making and imparts the same habits in others
• Provides planning and curriculum development support to teachers and instructional leaders
• Drives a strong school culture through regular school walkthroughs for instruction, culture, and operations
• Recruits, hires, and retains highly effective school staff
• Identifies and monitors schoolwide priorities and goals
• Allocate and approve resources and purchases in alignment with school mission and goals
