The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) is seeking Instructors for our Migrant Education Program's (MMEP) Remote English Language Learning classes for Out of School Youth (OSY). Classes will be offered remotely to small groups and individuals, meeting twice a week in the evenings or once a week on the weekend. The classes will primarily be offered at 7pm EST. We can hire out of state as long as instructors are available at that time. Classes will be taught using Google Meet and attendance sheets and curriculum resources will be in Google Suite but Whatsapp will be used to communicate with students. A familiarity and comfort navigating these online platforms is a must. Due to the need to communicate directly with students, Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred. Instructors will report to the Academic Programs Manager concerning class logistics and student progress.

This is You:
  • You have experience using online platforms such as Google Suite and ZoomYou have experience communicating using social media platforms such as WhatsappYou demonstrate the ability to provide instruction to individual and small groups of English language learnersYou demonstrate the ability to adjust lesson plans and strategies to best fit students' unique needs and interestsYou have one (1) year of teaching, preferably to non-traditional students and/or young adultsYou are bilingual ability in English and Spanish (preferred)
