Project Administrator ( 12-Month Contract Position)
Note: Candidates may work remotely from any location in the United States.
Responsibilities:
  • Support cross-functional Professional Learning Design projects through the project management life cycle.
  • Facilitate the work of cross-functional project teams, using best practices and standard processes to enable teams to accomplish project objectives.
  • Manage project documentation, communications, meetings, and required meeting follow up.
  • Support the creation of timelines and milestones for projects.
  • Monitor the progress of projects and identify issues affecting timely and accurate completion.
  • Communicate with project stakeholders when required.
  • Represent Professional Learning Design team requirements as a stakeholder in cross-functional organizational project or product meetings.
  • Learn and participate in developing, maintaining, and evolving standards, tools, templates and documented processes for process improvement and project governance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of the Professional Learning Design team and the organization.

  • Ability to facilitate and control meetings or discussions where disparate points of views need to be voiced and acknowledged
  • Ability to work with and communicate effectively with a variety of individuals including team members and other NWEA teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet, databases
  • Strong word processing, proofing and editing skills; ability to pay close attention to detail and quality
  • Must be able to perform the physical and intellectual requirements of the role, with or without accommodation

Experience and Education :
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 2+ years relevant experience, such as:
    • Entry level project admin. or coordination
    • Organization/administrative support
