Job Details

The Recreation Technician II is responsible for supporting Milwaukee Recreation’s software and operating systems and providing technical assistance and training to over 80 full-time staff.

Primary duties include supporting department systems and databases (e.g., TimeClock Plus, Ephesoft, FileMaker Pro, RecTrac, PowerDMS, rSchool, and Cayen Systems), developing standard operating procedures for business and software processes, and troubleshooting and resolving end-user issues.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be highly organized, have experience with a programming or scripting language, and demonstrate a passion for data and technology, including experience working with various desktop and cloud-based technologies.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets formulas and functions is preferred. Experience with Apps Script, VBScript, Visual Basic, and/or JavaScript is a strong plus but not required.

The salary range is $53,246 - 76,471 (12 months/260 days)
